Basheba is back with 'Shame'

North London singer/songwriter Basheba returns with the infectious single ‘Shame’.
Known for combining break beat and jungle rhythms in previous work, ‘Shame’ continues to show a progression in sound. Shame’ is the first track to be taken from Basheba’s new experimental EP, which dropped this month. Speaking about 'Shame', Basheba said, "I wrote this about a real situation I went through. At the time I was writing it to vent but it ended up being one of my favourite songs I’ve written. I feel a lot of people will relate to Shame and the story behind it. It was Produced by Ogre and Runone who I’ve worked with a lot in the past. Runone sent me the beat and I instantly fell in love with it.”
As well as plenty of radio and online love, Basheba has also supported Etta Bond and been championed by MOBO since featuring as one of their Unsung Top 10 last year.
