Get prepared for an emotional journey, a new song from Notorious B.I.G has been released.
Murdered on March 9, 1997 in Los Angeles, Christopher Wallace and his famous flow live on. The newly released track 'Me and My Bitch' is an alternate version of the classic tune of the same name found on the 1994 cult LP Ready to Die. A new version has been released last Thursday to celebrate Big Poppa's birthday. He would have turned 43.
According to the website Ego Trip, this tune was originally entrusted to DJ Premier in 1994 to be performed in his radio show on 107.5 WBLS. The aim was simple: promote the BIG MACK project held by Bad Boy Entertainment.
This version is slower and the beat is lighter than the one that features on the album. A sample of 'Take a Little Trip', originally sung by Minnie Riperton, has been used for this new version.
