R- Thentic AKA El- RTNC produces “Kool Herc: Fertile Crescent” with Homeboy Sandman. EP review.

Homeboy sandman is one of my favorite rappers at the moment, and this EP doesn’t disappoint.
The production is a slick 8-track mix for EP release on Stones throw records. When I listen to this EP I admire the production of El- RTNC and Homeboy sandman delivers as usual. You get what you pay for - it’s a great listen and well put together with some cool artwork that reminds me of Schooly d’s album cover for “Schooly d”. Still, I thought Stones Throw could of put El- RTNC’s name on the cover - I think he deserves it.
Overall this Ep is a mixture of meaningful lyrics and great El- RTNC production that is mainly sample based, but remains catchy and very consistent and pays homage to the old school. The release of the track “Peace and love” is available on you tube to watch.
