Monday 8th April 2013 | Serena
A beautiful cast starting from Leonardo Di Caprio, fabulous scenery, Rowing Twenties's Prada costume and a director as Buz Lhurman which stands for spectacular entertainment: The Great Gatsby could not be better!
And yet it is! It has just been released the track-list of the soundtrack and it's a smash!
Although set in New York in the spring of 1922, the soundtrack chosen by the director of Moulin Rouge and Romeo + Juliet is ultra modern (as happened exactly to his previous works) . The collaboration with the rap mogul Jay-z was already announced, but these 14 songs includes artist likes Sia, Fergie, Gotye and The XX. In short, a great success!
Of course Beyonce is part of the cast, with her own cover of Amy Winehouse' Back to Black feat. Andre 3000. The song is featured in the last trailer of the movie based on the 1929 F. Scott Fitzgerald novel, alongside whit hint of the songs of Lana Del Ray and Florence + The Machine, modern voices that with the clever mastery of Baz Lhurman fit perfectly between the scenes of The Great Gatsby.
Jay-Z: “100$ Bill”
Beyoncé and André 3000: "Back to Black”
will.i.am: “Bang Bang”
Fergie, Q-Tip and GoonRock: “A Little Party Never Killed Nobody (All We Got)”

Bryan Ferry Woth the Bryan Ferry Orchestra: “Love Is the Drug”
