The Sidewalk Doctors are a London based reggae band, formed by Lenny Bignal and Nathan Thomas.
Largely influenced by vintage Jamaican sounds and the rocksteady era particularly, The Sidewalk Doctors have a delightful fusion of traditional reggae with a touch of soul. Their lyrics focus on harmony and peace between people, and claim to be ‘a tonic to cure all your ills’.
They play in various venues in Camden including the Jazz Cafe, and regularly in Brixton with their last gig of the year at the Ritzy two weeks ago. They will be playing at the London International Ska Festival on 28th- 31st March 2013 and have played several years in a row.
Their debut album, ‘Music is Medicine’ was released in August last year featuring the tracks ‘Forgiveness’ and ‘Truly’.
