The Return of Mister Pane

RnB/Hip Hop | Wednesday 12th December 2012 | Jake

Justin ‘Mikill Pane’ Uzomba is a rapper hailing from East London, he’s very well articulated and writes clever lyrics, packed with multi-syllabic bars, intelligent wordplay and humour. He is probably most well known for his track with Ed Sheeran ‘Little Lady’ but he is far from a one trick pony. He’s released a number of mixtapes and EP’s, the most recent being Novembers’ Dirty Rider EP which contains a feature from the Rizzle Kicks which will probably gain him a few new listeners that wouldn’t have heard of him otherwise.

He has one of the most recognisable voices and flows in UK hip hop and you’re sure to know that it’s him you’re listening to as soon as you hear his voice kick in.

He has described himself before as “a little too Shoreditch for the streets to listen”  and this is evident when listening to him, he is nothing like the “road rappers” and grime artists that flood that capital and try to flog their mixtapes to you around the city, and his music fits a niche market: it’s clever rap music, which is something that the UK seems to be lacking in at the moment.

Look out for his debut album called ‘Blaming Miss Barclay’ which is set for release in Spring 2013 and check out a few of his videos below. I would also reccomend following him on twitter as he constantly updates it with witty jokes and info on upcoming showss (https://twitter.com/mikillpane)
