When Londoners Aluna Francis and George Reid came together under the ingenious title AlunaGeorge a fresh, melodic blend of electronic, RnB and pop was conceived. There’s no sound quite like theirs around right now.
The most notable release to date is ‘Your Drums, Your Love’ where Aluna’s distinctive vocals immediately ensnare before the end of the first line. An earlier release ‘Just a Touch’, unashamedly wallows in old school RnB vibes punctuated by Aluna’s sugar sweet vocals and poppy chorus.
