Whether it’s the price, the weather or a combination of the two, Croatia has firmly cemented its reputation as a party capital this festival season. 2011 saw a combined effort from Mancunian giants Warehouse Project and Leeds-based Electronic Music Group give birth to a new Dance festival on the beach island of ZRCE: Hideout, on the 1st-3rd of July. The picturesque beach hosted more than 50 acts over five stages, with massive sets from Sven Vath, Annie Mac, Nero and Pendulum among others tearing up the night.
“Aquarius club was an incredible open air venue with loads of space to dance, and the final night was the best, with Robert James, Jamie Jones, Seth Troxler and Damian Lazarus playing one after the other.” Not bad for a festival in its first year.
