Album Of The Month- Rhymeology

RnB/Hip Hop | Tuesday 17th December 2013 | Tilly

Rising hip hop artist and battle rapper Killa Impact aka the heretic, made his mark on the urban scene back in 2012 with his debut battle with Callum BOOM on hip hop’s answer to up and coming rap talent ‘Don’t Flop Entertainment’.

The aggressively comical lyricist earned his rank amongst long running emcees with his witty metaphors and claimed his rightful place on stage at leading festivals Outlook and Leeds, amongst hip hop legends Eminem and Mos Def.

Ending the year with a bang, Impact released his first solo release ‘Rhymeology’ exciting his fans with a taste of what to expect in the new year from the reputable rapper, with features from fellow ‘Don’t Flop’ artists Tenchoo, Tekneek and Phili’N’Dotz.

“Rhymeology”, much like the Em LP, presents a collection of multi syllabic rhymes with a rock/rap sound. Tracks Transcend and Heretic 2 showcase the experimental talent from the man himself with a strumming guitar composition, in a bid to create an innovative fresh sound. Is this what Eminem was trying too on his comparable new album? Is Rock/Rap the new hot thing?

Limited edition ‘Rhymeology’ CD available to buy now via the official Killa Impact website www.killaimpact.bandcamp.com
