D&B, pop, rock and jazz all collide in The Erised
The Erised, a five-piece bad from Ukraine, are dropping impressive releases on drum & bass label Med School.
Made up of drum & bass producers Detail and Hidden Element, dancer turned singer/songwriter Sonya, and a collective of jazz, rock and pop musicians, it's fair toy The Erised are not your average band. Their impressive debut release, the Desire EP, included the popular ‘Pray’ and ‘It’s Over’, winng them music fans across Europe and beyond.
Now they've just released their debut album Room 414, a more expansive and absorbing offering full of emotion thanks to Sonya's mesmerising vocals and the band's moody production, which effortlessly balances the tragic and the euphoric. With far-reaching support from the likes of Vogue and UKF, this group is most definitely one to watch.
