Hailing from Florida, this young gun has been on the scene for a few years now, releasing singles as an independent Artist and through Def Jam, with tracks such as Broke Again, detailing his humble beginnings from a trailer park to his electronic uptempo effort Sugar Don’t let me down speaking on addiction, tough times and the trials and tribulations of coming up in such an illusive industry. Coming up through the ranks he studied under some of the greats and eventually found his way in the path of a Def Jam A&R who introduced him to some big name producers. After almost year fighting his demons and visiting rehab he wrote his break out track Finessin, the song that would propel him into the mainstream. After turning down numerous offers for the track and sticking to his guns the song ended up in the hands of Lil Wayne who featured on the song and ended up signing him to his Young Money Label. The track itself also featured on Lil Waynes No Ceilings mixtape giving him more credibility in the Rap scene and after shooting the video to it he has found himself in a whole other lane altogether with the track hitting one of the top spots of the Billboard top 40. With the spotlight firmly on him he is definitely one to be looking out for.
