TLC Is Coming Back

Monday 29th July 2013 | Emma

In September the duo from TLC is coming back with new album

The ‘No Scrubs’ artists are coming back to business with a new album. The legendary RnB/hip-hop trio from TLC released their last album 3D over 11 years ago, seven months after the tragic death of one of the members of the group. Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes died in a car crash on April 25, 2002.

On Thursday (July 25) at a news conference in New York, the two other members Tionne „T-Boz” Watkins and Rozanda "Chili” Thomas, announced that they decided to get back on stage. They shared that beside concerts they are planning to release a fresh album. The ladies said they want to bring some old hits including ‘Creep’, ‘Waterfalls’ or ‘No Scrubs’, and some new songs.

Lisa Lopes was the group’s main writer, but now the help with writing and producing new songs offered such stars as Lady Gaga, Dallas Austin, and others. Gaga for example created the track ‘Posh Life’ for TLC, and Ne-Yo wrote ‘Meant to be’. J.Cole and Drake on the other hand invited the ladies to be part of their new single ‘Crooked Smile’.

Premiere of the album is planned for September
