Power - the best TV show you're probably not watching!

We’re in the era of ‘Peak TV’ with shows such as medieval drama Game of Thrones to legal comedy Suits getting millions of viewers every week, however there is one show that constantly gets overlooked by both critics and audiences and that’s Power.
The gritty crime drama revolves around a man leading two lives: one as James St. Patrick, a sophisticated nightclub entrepreneur and the other, as ‘Ghost’, New York’s most notorious drug kingpin. When we’re introduced to our protagonist in the very first episode, he seems to have it all – family, wealth and respect. That is until a surprise reunion with his high school sweetheart Angela Valdez complicates his life. Sex, deceit and murder follows, turning Power into a highly thrilling drama.
Omari Hardwick plays the main character, with Lela Loren, Naturi Naughton, Joseph Sikora and hip-hop legend 50 Cent (also the show's executive producer) in supporting roles.
The fourth season premiered nine weeks ago on Netflix and the finale this Sunday is sure to be another adrenaline rush, however it's best to watch Power in chronological order so check out the first episode below and then catch up with all four seasons on Netflix.
