Tom Odell is Definitely Someone to Look Out For!

When someone starts to write songs at the age of thirteen it becomes clear that that person will go a long way. Tom Odell, at the age of 20, has achieved an enormous amount in the music industry, even winning a BRIT award earlier this year.
With his near debut album just recently released, Tom has not only become a hot topic in the UK but also soared up to number 1 in the UK Official Chart with ‘Long Way Down’.
Just recently, ‘Another Love’ hit the radio stations and our TV screens, capturing our attention with the calm but catchy tune. The video was definitely something the country hasn’t seen before, with Tom himself remaining dire on a chair while his girlfriend tears the place apart. The music industry has seen so many individuals going to new extremes in their video clips, but Tom managed to achieve the same effects with a simplistic clip and a rather touching piano solo. Doesn’t this just scream talent?
Odell is a real life example of someone who made it to the top due to his dedication and motivation. Dropping out of the University of York, a place that holds prestige and power, to study at a music college in Liverpool, shows us how serious he was about music.
Of course don’t be led to believe that you should drop out of University just because you're passionate about music, but be sure to look up to this individual and follow him in his path to a great future.
