With these two teaming up, you know whatever the first single they drop is, it is gonna be HEAVY. Some serious tonnage.
DJ Mr Thing is a former member of the infamous British hip-hop DJ collective The Scratch Perverts and anyone keen on music from the UK hip hop labels of today like YNR, High Focus and Blah, should show this man gratitude. Here he has produced 'The Raw' and the title speaks for itself.
With a jazz influenced yet highly pressurised banger to get you steaming, Mr Thing's beat sets it up perfectly for the hard, old sku flows and enormously grizzly mic presence of veteran Parky, one of Jehst's chief comrade in arms at YNR Productions.

'The Raw' is the first single to be released from their forthcoming Album Let's Finish What We Started. If this is a taste of what is to come on the LP, fans and hip hop lovers worldwide will be keen to hear fresh bars from Parky and some long awaited production from Mr Thing.
Big up Mr Thing and Parky for keeping it old sku in these days of autotune. Good to see these two back in action and with some wise thoughts for those of you voting in the next few weeks, both in the emcee's rhymes and the DJ's cuts.
