The Subversive Gardener are sharing some tricks of the trade.

This weekend a pop up at Shoreditch's @BOXPARK will open up and will have a free workshop on how we can make our city greener. Vanessa Harden, aka The Subversive Gardener, will be sharing ideas and knowledge on the art of guerrilla gardening between 1pm and 3pm. So those of us with green fingers can spruce up our cities dull and neglected spaces.

The workshop on Saturday 16th July will train people up and teach them about seed bombs/pills and other DIY gardening products to help them secretly build gardens in London.

The famous shurbman from Colchester - showing us what guerrilla gardnering is all about.

Vanessa explained that 'The Subversive Pop-Up is all about showing people what is at the heart of guerrilla gardening, we are a thriving subculture of individuals that take to countless neglected urban spaces around the world, and secretly plant flowers, shrubbery, and vegetables, hoping to make a difference to the everyday lives of people everywhere'.

If you fancy taking up gardening arms and fighting bleak urban areas then head on down to @BOXPARK this Saturday for the free workshop, details here.
