Sticky Blood, Snowy and Coco go 'One Bar In'

RnB/Hip Hop | Sunday 6th December 2015 | Christina

The northern music scene is at its best in this track with Sheffield production duo Sticky Blood joined by Steel City MC Coco and Nottingham’s Snowy on ‘One Bar In’.

Featuring Coco and Snowy, both of which have recently been named by Complex as two of the ’15 Grime MC’s Outside of London That You Need To Know Today’, the track is distorted grime; hectic bars with a menacing beat. The video is just as cold, gritty and as fast-paced as the production.

'One Bar In' is taken from Sticky Blood's latest EP Blood is Stickier Than Water, on which the duo maintained focus on exercising fresh ideas for song structures; taking grime to 155bpm, encouraging MCs to explore ideas from a grime mind-set and apply it to a faster wonkier reality, taking R&B singers and applying their sonics to luscious future pop.
