INDIE: Track Of The Week
Glam rock’s absolute finest music machine is back again. After 2013’s huge success The Next Day, Bowie is back with what appears to be his 26th studio album, but who’s counting? It’s probably safe to say title track Blackstar isn’t going to achieve mainstream success, given its unconventional style and its rather dark, disturbing subject matter, a bit like Kanye West’s Power.
It’s got the lot: crystal skulls, rituals, twitching slaves, oh and I almost forgot, its ten minutes long. (Serious face)
