UK Single Downloads hit 1 Billion

The billionth digital download within the UK was bought Monday night, a colossal milestone towards just how much the industry has evolved. Hardly any physical singles are sold these days due to the worlds of internet and downloads exploding in popular interest.

The Official Charts Company are responsible for counting the data and have figures proving that Adele's 'Someone Like You' is the most downloaded track ever in the UK, and Maroon 5 featuring Christina Aguilera at number two with 'Moves Like Jagger'.

 

So what about the rest? What makes up the UK's top 10 of all-time download list?

  2. Maroon 5 ft. Christina Aguilera – Moves Like Jagger

  3. Gotye ft. Kimbra – Somebody That I Use To Know

  4. Black Eyed Peas – I Gotta Feeling
