If you’re into trap music or rap from the Southern parts of the USA then I’m sure you already know about Gucci Mane aka the Trap God, but for those who don’t I’ll give you a brief introduction here.
Real Name: Radric Devonte Davis
Hometown: Atlanta, Georgie
Age: 32
Releases (albums): Trap House, Hard to Kill, Trap-A-Thon, Back to the Trap House, Murder Was the Case, The State vs. Radric Davis, The Appeal: Georgia’s Most Wanted, The Return of Mr Zone 6, Ferrari Boyz, BAYTL
Affiliated Artists: Waka Flocka Flame, Rocko, 2 Chainz, Young Jeezy, Birdman, Soulja Boy, Yo Gotti
He has an extensive back catalogue (aside from the 10 albums listed above he has around 27 mixtapes) and as expected from such a big discography, it’s quite hit and miss, but when he’s at his best he’s a beast (he also probably wins the award for the worst tattoo ever; he has an ice cream with lighting bolts coming out of it on his face!). His style is mainly composed of trap-style beats (think Lex Luger etc.) and his slow, southern drawl. He is also responsible for naming Waka Flocka Flame and for bringing him into the rap game, the two have a number of tracks and mixtapes together and share the same style of rap.
If you’re into Waka and don’t know abotu Gucci then you need to get yourself up to date.
There a lot of free mixtapes from Gucci around on the internet if you don’t have them already.
Download them and drive round your estate blasting them out with the top down sipping lean, or something like that.
