Gunplay - Medellin

Richard Morales Jr, or Gunplay as he is better known, has been making waves in the hip hop world for a couple of years now through his work with Rick Ross, but it's not always been because of his music. Currently under house arrest and reportedly facing life imprisonment if convicted of assault and armed robbery, he has also caused controversy by getting a swastika tattoo (which he claimed is symbolic of his intention 'to put the fake rappers in the gas chamber.') Don't let that detract from his considerable talent though, which was exemplified by a show stealing guest verse on Kendrick Lamar's Cartoon and Cereal.
This year he has released two hard hitting mixtapes which have grabbed our attention, most notably Bogota Rich: The Prequel which at only 33 minutes long, blasts you then leaves you wondering what the hell just happened to your ears. His debut album is due for release next spring and although there is not a set release date yet, he has promised it is coming. Based on this years mixtapes, we can't wait to hear just what mayhem he's going to produce.
