Nina Nesbitt & Josh Kurma @ Dingwalls, 18th October
Just sixteen years old when she made her debut on the British music scene last year, the young Scottish/Swedish singer-songwriter kick-started her career on YouTube with handful of cover versions of songs such as ‘The Funeral’ by Band of Horses, and ‘Babylon’ by David Gray.
Nesbitt got her lucky break when Ed Sheeran asked her to play a song at one of his gigs in Edinburgh, and soon after Example tweeted her channel to his huge fan base after hearing her version of ‘Stay Awake’. Nesbitt was then invited to support Example on his December tour last year. The seventeen year old talent also joined Ed Sheeran on his European tour, and appears in the video ‘Drunk’.
Not a bad start. Nina has now released two EPs, ‘Live Take’ and ‘The Apple Tree’. Catch Nina perform tonight at Dingwall’s as part of her UK Headlining Tour ‘BOY UK TOUR’, supporting her debut single ‘Boy’.
Supporting Nina will be Josh Kurma, the stunning vocals and co-writer behind Wretch 32’s number one single ‘Don’t Go’.
Doors: 7pm
Tickets: £9
