Supermalt Show Us Their Artistic Side with Their First Art Exhibition in The Hoxton Gallery

For two days the renowned Hoxton gallery will be showcasing a collection of work from nine London-based artists and photographers. The pieces on show explore each of the creator’s individual interpretations of the unique culture and iconic status connected to Supermalt - the malt drink that’s been sold in the UK for over 30 years.
Over the past three decades the Supermalt consumer base have created their very own culture around the drink, which the brand has taken on and will celebrate, as part of its two-day exhibition at the Hoxton Gallery
Its many consumers know Supermalt as a drink that holds a connection to numerous childhood memories and experiences of growing up in a multi-cultural UK, and the work being showcased aims to capture this. For those that didn’t grow up with the drink or are not aware of the culture connected to it, Supermalt have also commissioned work that acknowledges the mystique that exists around the drink.
Exhibiting artists include Dum-Doodles, UltraFry, WillKay, London based photographer SODIQ, Mustashrik, Venisha Francis, Gio Muscat, Abi Wright and the collective Guns n Butta. This is a free exhibition that will be open from 11:00am – 8:00pm on Friday 14th November and 10:00am – 8:00pm on Saturday 15th November, with all guests being offered a chilled bottle of Supermalt on arrival!
