Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No! It's a super electric plane that saves the planet!

Spending time exploring new cultures, eating great food and having a taste of the unknown can be one of the best things in life and what better way to experience all this than travelling? But with all those amazing highs of being abroad comes the inevitable guilt of the carbon footprint that is linked with jet-setting around the planet.
However, a modern start-up company is now developing new technology that means electric planes could be up and running in the next ten years! This not only means a better environmental impact along with quieter engines, but the price of flights will drop as fuel for jets will be in less demand.
Yet, this does come with one major negative downfall, some people are saying that this dream may never actually become a reality, because there's simply isn't technology advanced enough to make it happen anytime soon.
That said, there was once a time when people said that the wright brothers could never even fly a plane, so who knows what the future holds?
I for one really hope this is a technology we can hope for the future, even if it just for the comedy value of seeing staff staggering around the airport with giant plugs, and giant double AA batteries to pop into the planes when needed.
