It's Shakedown Festival this Saturday 28th September featuring an incredible line up- including Rizzle Kicks, Labrinth, Maverick Sabre, DJ Fresh, Delilah, Nero, Zane Lowe, Annie Mac and more!
The summer may be over, with the depressing countdown to winter beginning. But this weekend you may have one more reason to go out in the sun (hopefully) and party all day, enjoy amazing music, have a few drinks (or a lot) and relax after the gruelling week you’ve had - because Shakedown Festival is back!
After a hugely successful run last year, the autumn festival is back with a bang, with massive headliners on each and every stage and countless stalls of food, drink and entertainment throughout. It’s happening in Stanmer Park in Brighton this Saturday (the 28th) and the party starts at noon.
Rizzle Kicks, the high-energy cheeky duo, are one of the headliners this year. Hot on the heels of their second studio album release, Roaring 20s, they’re back in their hometown to deliver a performance to remember. From their previous instant hits, ‘Down with the Trumpets’ and ‘Mama Do the Hump’, to their new single ‘Lost Generation’, their set promises to be one you’ll be singing and dancing along to.
Joining them is Labrinth, one artist who has proved his versatility in the music industry. He can be getting frisky with Tinie Tempah and creating an earthquake one moment, then singing the beautiful no.1 single ‘Beneath your Beautiful’ with Emeli Sandé the next. That takes talent. That’s not all though; Maverick Sabre, Hot Right Now DJ Fresh, Delilah, Nero, Sub-focus, Zane Lowe, Annie Mac and even more musical talent will all join the party and hit the stage to make sure this is one festival you do not want to miss.
