Michael Jackson And Justin Bieber Duet
Slave 2 The Rhythm was a song originally recorded by Michael Jackson just before his death back in 2009. Now Justin Bieber has added vocals as well as a few additional lyrics.
The new version of the track surfaced last Friday (16th August) online and has already been played on Capital FM but it is still unsure whether the track will get a full release.
Last week Bieber tweeted: 'Excited for what is to come. MJ set the bar. Not only for music but for being an entertainer and how u treat the fans. Wish he was here...' He also tweeted 'MJ. The greatest of all time #fact' and posted a picture comparing himself and the King of Pop, Michael Jackson on stage with the caption 'He set the bar pic.twitter.com/gCMGHWLK4t.'
Perhaps we should have seen it coming. Last year music producer Rodney 'Darkchild' Jerkins who has worked with both Michael and Justin revealed that if Michael Jackson were still alive, a collaboration was almost certainly a possibility. He stated "I think if Michael Jackson was alive I would have been able to make a meeting happen and actually get them to do something together," he said. However, the producer of the track has not yet been revealed and 'Darkchild' might not even have had anything to do with it.
Verdict: Shamefully, it's actually pretty catchy (even if it does have a bit of a cheesy dance beat behind it.)
