In its third year, the London Acoustic Guitar Show 2013 will play host to some of the UK’s biggest selling acoustic artists. The show invites a young and enthusiastic audience through its doors to be part of the wonderful world of acoustic guitar and music. With inspiring Main Stage performances, informative clinics in the Masterclass Suite and an impressive display of gear in the exhibition hall, the show will be bigger and better.
Kicking off the list of inspiring artists and headlining the Main Stage on Saturday 7 September is platinum-selling artist Matt Cardle who performs live in association with Taylor Guitars. With a platinum-selling album – 2011’s Letters – 2012’s follow-up The Fire and numerous sold-out tours, Matt Cardle is one of the country’s finest pop performers. He’s also the happiest he has ever been – don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. The enthusiasm for his craft is shining through as strong as ever. He has a passion for new songs that only comes from a man who is proud of what he is delivering.
Saturday will also see critically acclaimed artist Tom Baxter, ukulele wizard Jake Shimabukuro and the award-winning Antonio Forcione take to the Main Stage as well as in-depth Masterclasses from Rodney Branigan, Petteri Sariola, Mike Dawes and Clive Carroll. The Sunday line-up is just as full with live performances from Hudson Taylor, Scott Matthews, Martin Simpson, Ben Montague and Graham Gouldman from 10cc.
The show’s third stage – the Acoustic Café - is a platform for young up and coming artists to show off their talents. Performers include Katey Brooks (In association with Go To Guitars), Matt Stevens and Aaron Douglas (In association with Lakewood Guitars) who are all current gigging artists.
