Jay-Z With the BBC
Jay Z is quite possibly the most articulate rapper around. With an eagle like business mind and real interest in politics, his word on most things is accurate. He sat down with the BBC and discussed his music. In a revealing four part interview Zane Lowe quizzes him over his album and its process along with issues such as his family and various business ventures. Part 1 of the interview was released today and gives us a big insight into how people like Nas , Justin Timberlake and Timberland all featured on the album. Jay-Z also talks a lot about ego within rap and discusses the ‘organic and minimalist’ nature of the Magna Carta: Holy grail. For all Jay-Z fans, this is a must watch! The interview will allow us to get to know arguably one of the most success rappers in hip hop history.
