Theo Parish Announces 'Wildheart Recordings'
Plastic people resident Theo Parish has recently announced the launch of his latest project; a new imprint to be called ‘Wildheart Recordings’.
The Chicago raised producer, DJ and spiritual philosopher started his own imprint, Sound Signature in 1996. Under this brand he has released a number of tracks hopping between funk, disco, RnB, bass and house including collaborations with the likes of Andrew Ashong on the soulfull 2012 number ‘Flowers’.
Theo has assured fans that Wildheart is not a replacement for Sound Signature but rather a project to be run alongside it, stating that “If the Sound Signature label releases are the for the body, Wildheart is for everything else”.
The first releases on Wildheart are to feature Eska, Andrew Ashong, Invisible front man and guitarist Dave Okumu as well as a joint effort from Theo himself and Afrobeat drummer Tony Allen called ‘Day Like This/ Feel Loved’ which can be streamed below.
