The First Artists for Flow 2018 Are Out Now

Indie | Tuesday 23rd January 2018 | Hanna

The indie festival Flow, taking place in Helsinki in August, has dropped its first artists for the 2018 lineup and it’s got some not-so-indie-names on it. The major hook is Kendrick Lamar, but for some audiences the rock legend Patti Smith might have a bigger allure. That is just the tip of the iceberg though, as the festival is promising to keep you on your feet the whole weekend with the unmissable St.Vincent, Bonobo, Mura Masa and Grizzly Bear.

If you’re after more home-grown artists, the Finnish no-fucks-given sensation Alma is returning to the Flow stage this year and the new-comer Onni Boi is debuting the festival with his airy electronic sounds. This gives us a taste of what’s to come, with many more artists to be released in the coming months. Don’t wait too long to get your tickets though – the festival has sold out in past years and with a lineup like this, it is likely to happen again!
