Citadel 2017: the big names have dropped

Indie | Tuesday 7th March 2017 | Jenny Desborough

Victoria's Park one-dayer is back with a bang, and we reported that Foals would be the top dogs on the main stage this year.

But now the entire festival has landed: with Laura Marling, Michael Kiwanuka, Bonobo and Wild Beasts headlining the main stage and the Communion stage.

With more Mercury and Brit noms than you can shake a stick at, this team of artists will bring amazing vibes while you sun in the park with some tasty food with a selection that is out of this world.

And that's not all. There's everything from workouts and wellbeing (including Lovercise - I have no idea what that is but it sounds pretty intense) to going over the Sunday papers with big names like comedienne Shappi Khorsandi.

For all you scientists out there the Science Camp will be around hosting some crazy experiments, while Guerilla Science will be leading a workshop on lust, sex and life (ooh la la).

But let's not forget - it's all about the music. If you want something a little different head over to Reggae Roast for some reggae dubstep, or Oumou Sangaré for her soulful, African vocals. But if it's a dance you're after, Aussie group Parcels are the one for you as they dazzle with their sexy funk tunes.
