Paris Back in The Studio

Hollywood bad girl, Paris Hilton, is once again solidly placed back in the limelight – a place it would be deemed fair to call a ‘home from home’ for the young hotel heiress. It has been revealed that Paris has signed for the record label Cash Money Records, fronted Birdman.
Though a long time ago now, it would be fair to say that Paris’s fame definitely came from her sex tape leaked on the internet by ex-boyfriend and co-star in the short film, Rick Salomon. Though it said something about her acting skills, another crack at the music game off the back of this fame is once again attacking our poor souls – what did we do wrong to deserve this?! It was revealed at the end of May 2013 that music moguls and hip hop giants Cash Money Records had signed Paris to their label! Shocking as it may seem, it isn’t Miss Hilton’s first tussle in the music industry. Listeners would have done well to forget her previous debut album, modestly named Paris released in 2006. Fat Joe featured on the album, and though he aimed to bring his street element, the track they released was laughable – for your own sanity, steer clear of it.
However, maybe Cash Money scouted her talent working alongside a great rapper? With a collaboration with Lil Wayne on the horizon, hip-hop fans can expect nothing less than eye gauging and eye scratching music from the home video star.
It could be argued that a new Lady in hip hop is needed. The earlier dominance by Missy Elliot and Lil Kim has now been trumped by that of the brightly hair coloured Nicki Minaj. Could Paris be the rival that Nicki needs at the top of the female hip hop game? Will this next album from Paris be a flop? – Well, is the Pope a Catholic? Exactly! But we can’t write of Paris too quickly. Though it is almost a publicity stunt from the parties concerned, they are getting their money. And if Cash Money weren’t getting their money, a name change would be court ordered by us, the adoring public. If we’re lucky, then this upcoming album will not be leaked early, or at all if we can help it! Paris can be seen with her new peers in the video for new single ‘Tapout’ by Rich Gang. Don't worry, she doesn't sing, unplug those ears!
