Stormzy goes on Twitter tirade after NME posts cover story without consent

RnB/Hip Hop | Friday 17th March 2017 | Idrees

Stormzy is one of UK’s most popular artists at the moment, as the sky is the limit for the rapper, with the recent release of Gang Signs and Prayers.

However, Stormzy had been in the news recently talking about his battle with depression, which is something that is obviously quite personal to him.

This was highly evident when the rapper verbally attacked music magazine NME for publishing an edition with Stormzy on the cover, allegedly without the rapper’s permission.

The rapper took exception to this as it was a story quite personal to him and he let NME know about it on Twitter.

Even after NME apologised, Stormzy wasn’t buying it.

Stormzy had called out the journalist behind the story, although deleted the tweet when realising that the journalist has nothing to do with the cover selection.

Stormzy’s album Gang Signs and Prayers is out now.
