Indie | Tuesday 28th February 2017 | Terje

Cat Power will be taking over Islington Assembly Hall on the 12th and 15th of March this year.

Chan Marshall, better known as Cat power will perform a gig at the Islington Assembly Hall as well as in Dublin and Brighton.

Cat Power is an American indie rock musician, she has been signed with Matador Records since 1996.  She has done a number of solo and collaborative projects through the years, but in the past decade she has made her name as a solo artist.

Her first album Dear Sir was released in 1995, followed by Myra Lee shortly after, and in 1995 her critically acclaimed album Moon Pix was realeased in 1998, just to name a few.

She has been noted as incredibly talented and unique, and with every gig she performs the fans can experience a unique and raw performance in a way you could never expect.

As a constantly evolving artist Cat Power released her lastest album Sun in 2012 filled with faster rhythms and electronic feels that once again show us the brilliance of Chan Marshall.
