One of the best rappers to step to the mic ever, Yasiin Bey’s (FKA Mos Def) pair of shows at the Forum at the end of the month are unmissable for any hip-hop head.
Performing classics from his seminal discography and backed by Chicago’s Hypnotic Brass Ensemble whose blend of jazz, funk, hip-hop and big band will surely bring a whole other level of energy to the set. These concerts could be the most important hip-hop gigs this side of 2017. Especially considering that these maybe the last UK shows from the rapper ever after Bey announced his imminent retirement from the music industry last year.
