AstroVoyager shares new track 'Architect (Blackbird Blackbird Remix)'
Born in Mertz and based in Dole, eastern France since 2011, music has been Philippe Fagnoni’s passion from a young age. Fagnoni was part of various bands before starting his own project exploring the boundaries of electro-symphonic music. The highlights of his career so far include performances with the Tetraktys Ensemble for ElectrOpera and its pyro musical outdoor version in 2014 as well as ‘Big Bang’, which was presented in Dole last October with the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra.
AstroVoyager gradually weaves electronic synthesizers and keyboards with instruments from a full orchestra to create an electronic symphony. Complemented by a live performance, AstroVoyager’s ultimate goal is to completely immerse the listener in the music and visuals, taking them onto a cosmic journey. Drawing influences from electronic music pioneers Jean-Michel Jarre, Space (Didier Marouani) and Deep Forest, the symphonic orchestra concept recently adopted by techno legends Jeff Mills and Derrick May has the potential to be timeless.
Architect is the new EP from electro-symphonic artist AstroVoyager scheduled for release on the 21st October via label CosmXploreR (CXR). AstroVoyager’s upcoming EP will include “Modulation IV” and “Architect”- plus remixes from artists such as Blackbird Blackbird, Deep Forest, Halina Rice, Badoos and Desange.
