Its Not Throwback Thursday Anymore But Let's Keep It Going With Some Classic Tunes
Thursday 27th June 2013 | Funmi
Hip Hop today has come a long way from what it used to be. Although I love me a bit of Kanye and 2 Chainz, it’s not all the time we want to hear about how many mills they’re sitting on or their bewildering views on religion. What ever happened to the good old days when rappers kept it simple and just spoke about bitches, weed and partying? Today’s all about taking a trip down memory lane and showing appreciation to the long list of legends that set the mark and produced some serious head bangers. Of course we had to start with the 90’s and throw in Biggie and Pac but it wouldn’t be a true 90’s flashback if names like Mase and The Fugees didn’t appear on the list. Sit back and take a trip back to your childhood days when all you had to worry about was your ice cream melting!
