Lil Wayne sees the light in this latest throwback

Lil Wayne delivers on all levels with powerful lyrics, soft vocals and an insane beat on Pray to the Lord.
We have veteran producer STREETRUNNER to thank for this as he is currently remixing and mastering old Lil Wayne tracks that were leaked almost a decade ago giving us a flashback to classic Weezy.
"Pray to the Lord" is a soulful number and has been remixed to such an extent that it is pretty much a new tune entirely which is never a bad thing. It’s a great mix with soothing vocals weaving in and out of Wayne’s flow with a solid groove holding it all together.
With lyrics like "And every time I see the sunshine, I drop down and give thanks at least one time" you wonder what headspace the artist was in when they wrote it taking into consideration that this is almost 10 years ago.
