BRNFKD team up with Camille Michelle Gray for 'Sixteen', taken from their eponymous debut EP, out on Nowadays Records on April 22nd.
Behind BRNFKD lurk two rising talents of the French scene: heavy trap range artist Ikaz Boi and prolific producer Monk, whose creative focus lies in more delicate soundscapes. Together, the two producers play with electronic and hip-hop music, merging percussion, deep bass, and ethereal synths to create a sound that is all their own. 'Sixteen' features the vocal talents of US singer-songwriter Camille Michelle Gray.
The video, and the visuals for the rest of the EP, were created by Clarita Luzian, aka Render_Fruit. She explains that “the song was very inspiring for me and speaks about love, about being IN love. I took the immense sense of that word-monument and dived into its waters...there is no gender or other distinction that can separate us from love’s magnetic fields.”
