Supported by a well-deserved national infatuation and growing international recognition, Paris-based duo AaRON return with ‘Blouson Noir’, the first track to be lifted from their upcoming, self-produced third album We Cut The Night.
The video is opened by award winning actor, director and producer John Malkovich. He stands alone in the shadows and recites: "Because
the world does not belong to us. Because
we're nothing, leftovers. Because we are tumbleweeds on roads. Because we are every lost, dashing, shadow. Because
we're poems on sidewalks. Because
you are the needle in my arm. We are equals. We are mirrors. We cut the night". Here, life is the subject matter and we are shown a multitude of different people living, doing and being. Each black and white scene is distinctly human and is perfectly fitting for this hypnotisingly honest record.
With 'Blouson Noir', AaRON have become a daring act, unafraid to set themselves apart with irresistible melody, haunting vocals and wholly addictive subject matter.
