Britain's most popular Latin personalities from the worlds of music, sports, dance, art, business and television come together at KOKO on May 13th for the 4th Latin UK Awards Gala (LUKAS) 2015. The night will celebrate the best of Britain's diverse and dynamic Latin cultures in a spectacular Gala Ceremony and Live Concert After Party headed up by 70’s Venezuelan Fellowship Award winner, Jorge Spiteri and his Latin Funk Allstars.
Joining Phantom of the Opera lead Gerónimo Rauch (winner of Vocalist of the Year) and West Ham footballer Enner Valencia (Sports Personality of the Year) are peers including Chelsea’s Juan Cuadrado, Fulham’s Hugo Rodallega, and Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina. Ex-World Cup winners and Spurs legends Osvaldo Ardiles and Ricky Villa, former Spanish international star Gaizka Mendietta and The Apprentice’s Felipe Baquero will also be in attendance.
The Godfather of Latin Funk, Jorge Spiteri is set to light up KOKO’s famous stage at the after party concert with his new Latin All Stars featuring Karl Vanden Boscche, Tony Remy, Steve Lewinson, Pete Lewinson, Urban Soul Orchestra and Roberto Pla. Salsa band Sexteto Café led by Colombian vibraphonist bandleader Dorance Lorza, plus LUKAS award-winning DJs Luigi Sanchez and Saul Maya will also take to the stage, making sure the after party is one to remember!
