Sofi de la Torre – That Isn’t You

The title track from Sofi's upcoming EP That Isn’t You, set to drop on April 13th, is a down-tempo take on dreamy alt-R&B – think Banks laced with a California vibe - that has already won the approval of Paramore's Hayley Williams. Sofi’s raw emotional overtones mirror the introspective life reflections common to us all; both inclusive and yet isolated.
Her track ‘Vermillion’, created in collaboration with Finnish producer/songwriters Jonas Karlsson and Axel Ehnström, has already received wide critical acclaim. Heralded by Billboard as a “total game-changer”, it was featured on The Guardian’s playlist, as well as being featured on Grimes’ blog. The track was also remixed by deep house producers Crom & Thanh and subsequently played on BBC Radio 1 by none other than Tiësto.
Involved in every aspect of her artistry, Sofi writes her own music, shoots her own pictures, designs the artwork, edits the videos and takes care of styling. An artist whose talents seem to have no bounds, her EP is a masterful piece of work that truly looks set to bring her the attention she deserves.
