X-Press 2 FT. Doll- This Is War- Track Review

X- Press 2 are back in a big way with their huge new tune This Is War featuring Doll of Doll And The Kicks fame on guest vocals. Doll's previously mentioned vocals provide a subtle feel to what is otherwise an epic, anthemic, dance floor filler, and The fact that the track has such a feel good factor to it is of little surprise given X-Press 2's standing in the world of house where they have been a pioneering force in the genre for over two decades. Despite the pair's fantastic reputation they are still as supremely focused and motivated as they have ever been and this hunger comes to life in the track due to its subtle layers as well as Doll's frantically paced yet hauntingly enchanting vocals. Despite this slightly different vocal feel X-Press 2's influences are firmly stamped all over this track and their never ending love affair with the club scene shines through on record.
