Biggest Record Store Day yet

The 20th April, the date which every avid vinyl collector will have marked in their diaries and on their calendars. It’s Record Store Day. The day which recognises all the independent record stores over the U.K. The day that becomes more and more important every year, because buying music in physical format as opposed to digitally, becomes the rarer and rarer thing to do. This is killing independent record stores. So every year on this day, bands and artists will release exclusive records, which can only be found in these stores, on this day. And this year is going to be huge.
Sought after records this year will be from the likes of David Bowie, Pulp, Paul Weller, Nick Cave and Kate Bush.
David Bowie will be releasing a very special edition of the single released from his latest album, The Next Day, ‘The Stars (Are Out Tonight), on some swanky 7-inch white vinyl. He’ll also be releasing a re-issue of ‘Drive-In Saturday’ on a 7-inch picture disc and his 1965 EP.
So save your pennies, celebrate independent record stores and get your hands on some one-off records this April.
