SBTRKT hitting secret London location for Wearhouse gig
Tuesday 19th February 2013 | Olga
The no longer anonymous producer and performer SBTRKT (pronounced as “subtract”), known as Aaron Jerome, is now on tour with his first LP SBTRKT and is hitting the streets of London on 15th March. The event will be in a secret warehouse location in London and the artist will be accompanied by acts like Jaques Greene and Kilo Kish. The mysterious performer is a Londoner by blood who started his musical career in the East London club ‘Plastic People’ in 2009 with his Step in Shadows EP. His remixes for Franz Ferdinand, M.I.A. and Basement Jaxx among others were met with huge success, not only in the UK, but worldwide.
With elements of dubstep, drum & bass, house, 2-step and soul, SBTRKT's tunes are bass-heavy, future-garage sounding and accompanied by the soft vocals of his main collaborator, Sampha. The warehouse gig is sure to be a great collage of sound and a must-see event!
