An Engaged Example

With social media basically ruling the world of entertainment nowadays, what better way is there to announce your engagement other than posting it on Twitter?
Aussie MTV presenter Erin McNaught took to twitter yesterday to confirm her engagement to UK singer/rapper Example. The former Neighbours star was spotted sporting a ring on her left hand over the weekend and took to twitter explaining: “Yes, Elliot and I are engaged. Thank you everyone for our lovely well wishes.”
If you wondering...who the hell is Elliot? Obviously Example is a stage name, his real name is Elliot John Gleave. The Kickstart singer followed in his fiancé’s footsteps tweeting: “Since I announced my engagement to @Erin_McNaught my album has started to drop on the iTunes chart. Oh well.”
The two have been dating for about a year and Example is certain that he has found the real thing, during an interview with the Sun he revealed: “ It sounds ridiculous but this is the happiest I have ever been and I don’t mean that in the Kerry Katona sense – she says that about once a month, for every mag deal she does.” ...Ouch Kerry...(he does have a point though.)
