Patrick Wolf announces European tour 2013

The artist will also be performing at Rough Trade East in an intimate gig.

The English singer/songwriter Patrick Wolf, has announced an Europe tour coinciding with his 10th anniversary in the music industry, and also to present his new album Sundark and Riverligh, a double album which features acoustic reworks of tracks including: ‘The Magic Position’, ‘The Libertine’, ‘Wind in The Wires’, ‘Hard Times’ and ‘Together’.

Wolf, who has already a strong fan base and has been tagged as “Britain’s most innovative, radical and creative pop star” by The Observer and “The perfect soundtrack to those cold, dark, evenings” by The Sun, is now testing his new work outside of the country, visiting places such as: to Spain, Portugal, Finland, Latvia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Russia, Poland, Austria, Sweden, Norway, UK and alongside other UK shows a London show at the Queen Elizabeth Hall on 6th April 2013. 

On this adventure, he will be accompanied by Willemwiebe, an accordionist he met in Holland. Wolf said about him: “I’m looking forward to hearing my string arrangements played on accordion and it brings such an exciting new energy to the songs”.

But before the whole thing starts, he will be on 5th December performing a half hour in store set at Rough Trade Records East, London and will stay for a while to share his music with his beloved fans.
