Single of the Week: George Fitzgerald - 'Needs You'

Forthcoming on Hypercolour, the label that has bought us releases from such esteemed artists as Maya Jane Coles, Huxley and Tom Demac, 'Needs You' is sure to be a track that will catapult British house producer George Fitzgerald into the big time. It is a release that is heavier than his previous releases such as 'Child' and 'Lights Out', given that it errs on the more techno side of house. However, this is in no way a bad thing, as 'Needs You' is a track even more suited to the club environment than any of his earlier releases. The song is taken from the E.P. of the same name and will also feature the track 'Every Inch' as its B-side. Be sure to keep an ear out for this track dropping on a dance floor near you soon, as I have a good feeling that this is going to be one of those tracks that sticks around for a very long time. And deservedly so.
The 'Needs You' E.P. is out on Monday 19th November on Hypercolour Records.
