Alicia Keys drops Girl On Fire Video.
Alicia Keys has released the first single of her forthcoming fifth album, which is set for release on the 27th of November. The video depicts Alicia taking on the roles of housewife, mother, and daughter. In the Sophie Muller directed clip, Alicia is presented as the selfless, struggling housewife who still manages to make it against the odds. Now, although we admire the message that’s being delivered here the truth is “Girl on Fire” isn’t doing very well on the billboard chart and the hope was that a brilliant music video would help elevate this single on the charts, unfortunately we doubt this video will manage to make that a mark, partly because the concept has already been done in the past by Keys in “Superwoman” and also because this isn’t really the type of video that we’d want to watch more than once.
