Rolling Stones tickets: what were you expecting?

Wednesday 17th October 2012 | Raquel

Rolling Stones are back but don't get to excited. Well, you can, if you are rich or are willing to give up eating to see the biggest rock n' roll band live.

Once again The Rolling Stones are polemic but this time it's not about drugs or parties or craziness. Actually, it it craziness. After celebrating 50 years of pure rock, the band is going to play two concerts in London in the 25th and 29th November. So far so good. But now lets get to the point: prices. The cheapest ticket costs £90 and the more expensive ones £375. Wow, not that cheap.

Keith Richards said on twitter that he does not like to make his fans pay a lot for the band concerts but that's not what people are seeing here. Alright, they are a super rock band that had this year their 50th anniversary but still... those prices cuts half or more of the fans who want but can't go because they have no money to. Well done.

There are also more two gigs in Newark (close to New York) in the 15th and 19th December. When questioned about the possibility of more concerts in 2013, Richards answered that it is likely to happen but they don't have green light yet to confirm such thing. He also posted a photo on twitter with the probable setlist for the concerts.
